snow vs. martini

Wishing everyone a fresh and bright 2021! Hope you were have some relaxing (and safe!) downtime over the holidays and new year. Ours was very quiet (we have spent several Christmases on our own so not unusual) ... we had to work a bit but definitely had some chill time off.

Speaking of chilling out ... after taking December off, Seize the Birthday is back at it with a snowy background challenge this week!  I took the easy route and just did some white splatter.  That's basically what snow is anyway, right? I'm not a fan of real snow (I'd much rather be inside with a martini) but it was fun trying to figure out what to do with this challenge. Thanks to my team mate Barbara for coming up with this one!

Celebrate

Pretty simple but I like how it turned out (plus is has red on it so how can you go wrong?).  Hope you are able to play along and have some fun with this! Be sure to check out all of the spectacular snowy creations from the rest of the team and our returning Surprise Party Guest Julie Peddicord!

  1. Excellent snowy spatter! Love the retro font of the sentiment - it works so well with the classic martini.

  10. Great snowy card, Glenda! The polaroid frame looks like a window and maybe someone is enjoying a martini looking at the snowy outside :) !
