Happy Thursday crafty friends. Jules has picked our Seize the Birthday topping for this week and she wants us to use a tag. I just wanted to use a bunch of fun little bits ... and this is what I came up with. The card base looked a little bare so added a splotchy stamp with Versamark ink. I seem to have trouble putting a tag on a card that is straight up and down... always has to be at an angle. lol.
Be sure to head over to the blog to give some crafty love to our Surprise Party Guest Jennie M, previous winner Leslie Miller, and the rest of the design team.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a terrific day and a wonderful upcoming weekend.
Glenda

Nothing wrong at all with the slanted tag sometimes you have to do that to fit it onto your card. I love how you use bits and pieces and came up with a design
ReplyDeleteI do that with tags, too... as if it's dangling. I love the sweet simplicity of your card and how the scribble circle accents the sentiment. Glenda, I'm glad to be guesting with you for this challenge!
ReplyDeleteOh, tags have to be slanted - that's an unwritten rule! :D I love the mod design for your tag, Glenda, especially the paired red ribbon. Looks fab!
ReplyDeleteFantastic CAS design, making the tag and sentiment the focal point!
ReplyDeleteYour angled tag looks great Glenda. Great CAS card.
ReplyDeleteI didn't put my tag on an angle but I did angle to greenery. I personally love the look. I think your little "smudges" are perfect. It gives it a more aged/rustic look. Great card my friend!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great CAS card, Glenda. I think a tilt is always the way to go as then you don't have to worry about it being straight.
ReplyDeleteI so wanted to put my tag on a slant too but ended up making it straight. Great card, Glenda and the splotches really add to the background.
ReplyDeleteGreat CAS card Glenda I like the jaunty angled tag :) Cathy x
