sassy scraps

How did it get to be October already? Fall is not my favourite season but I really can't complain about the weather so far. I've been continuing my habit of the last 6 months of having my coffee outside in the morning... I'm a little more bundled up now and some mornings I have to be under cover but the fresh morning air is lovely.

We are pulling out all the scraps at Seize the Birthday this week thanks to Lindsey! A couple of these strips were cut from a pristine piece of paper but the majority are scraps - including the white square (it is the negative of a die cut).  I have so many scraps so I love this challenge... it was so fun to pull together a rainbow with a variety of patterns. It's pretty simple but I'm happy with it.

Hope you can join us :). I know you have scraps.... like all card makers! Be sure to check out all of the scrappy creations from the team and our Surprise Party Guest Angie!

Anyhoozal, Since I can't be there I will admire your lovely card from a far. Leaving the white edge and using the white panel with the vellum really brought this card together. Well done!

  6. I usually have a tough time coordinating patterns - so I guess having a rainbow pattern would work out pretty well if I ever tried it myself too. Awesome card, Glenda! Thanks for the inspiration!
