nix the neutrals

We take turns at picking themes over at Seize the Birthday and this week is my turn! I'm all about bold colours so I decided to go for non-neutral backgrounds for our theme. I let this card be all about the rich purple background.

Hope you can have some fun with your backgrounds! Be sure to check out the blog to see the colourful creations our Surprise Party Guest Jen and the rest of the team came up with.

Wishing you a terrific day and wonderful weekend.  Thanks for popping by.
Glenda

  4. Thanks for making us think outside the box when I comes to backgrounds. We sure got some great ideas here. I love that bold eggplant background on this card. The circles remind me of bubbles in champagne.

  5. Your embossing folder was a wise choice as Barb mentioned. Now you have the bubbles to go along with your cocktails. You made a great selection on our topping too. Hope your weekend was extra special.

  9. Argh!! Now why didn't I use purple!?!! Loving the look of the embossing with that purple, I think anything would have gone with that background - but the bubbly does it justice!
