Celebrate the Journey

Hello again!  It's been a very productive weekend here in the crafty dungeon (really, my craft room is quite poorly lit!).  I'm now playing along with the My Favorite Things Guest Designer Search sketch (an image of the sketch can be seen below).  I have a just a few things from My Favorite Things and would love to be Guest Designer to play along with some more of their fabulous stamps and dies (of which I have a few en route!).  Here is my card, using Going Places (which fits right in to my current travel theme addiction)...

Going Places is such a fun set and includes a skyline stamp (another addiction of mine). They also have a skyline die... swoon!  I love it.  I haven't used it yet on any blog cards but have been using it on my publication submissions.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope you had a good Father's Day with your Dad/hubby/Father-in-Law.  I was very bad and didn't make a card for my hubby and haven't sent my dad's yet (masculine cards - so hard - sigh). My hubby wasn't worried about a card and was just happy to get phone calls from both his kids today.  I made him one of his faves for supper so that made him happy too.  My Dad was thrilled when I called today (he said, don't worry about sending a card - the call is what's important).  I have a few friends who lost their dads in the last 6 months so I was thinking of them today... and how hard that would be.  Grateful to still have both of my parents in my life... not all of my friends are so lucky.

Hope you had a great weekend and are looking forward to the week ahead.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Glenda
