Welcome to another Seize the Birthday Challenge! Vicky chose feathers as the topping this week. I don't have any feather dies or stamps so I went with a bird. Tried to just make it simple and elegant. The card base is a dark purple - oh purple, how I love you but how difficult you are to photograph.

ReplyDeleteI think I might have this beautiful bird in my collection. Oh, how I love purple, too, but it can give you fits in a photo. I like how the swirly embossed background suggests the bird is flying on a windy day. I'm glad to be guesting with you for this challenge, Glenda!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize it was purple! Nice CAS card.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous textured background Glenda, the little bird looks like he's taking off to deliver those birthday wishes, fun card, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteWhat better way to celebrate and deliver a birthday wish than with a cute bird! I think that you rocked this challenge.

ReplyDeleteWell, I can make out that it's purple after reading you mention it. ;) Great card, Glenda. I love the little bird trying to perch on the sentiment - that's fun and cute!!
ReplyDeleteCan I just pretend it's black? ROFL!!! This is beautiful and very elegant with the embossing and the gold sentiment.
