Pink again... gasp!

Happy Friday friends!  Hope you had a great week!  I've decided that my recent increase in running must have left my brain oxygen starved because I'm using pink again.  That's twice in one week (see Sunday)!  Those who read regularly, know my aversion to pink.  What I've decided is that it's an aversion to pale pink (since I have trouble with pastels overall!) and really "pink" pink.  However, coral and fuschia I can actually work with, sometimes, kinda, maybe, if I have too... and in this case, I have to because I'm playing along with the Unity Challenge Colour this month - pink, green and off-white.  I'm also playing along with Unity's Friends with Flair and CAS-ual Friday #50 - flowers or trees.  Going pretty CAS with this card but I just realized I have a whole bunch of female birthdays in the first half of May so I should get started (and this could be easily reproduced).  By the way, there are sparkles on the flowers but they are a bit hard to see.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you have a great day and a fabulous weekend!
Glenda

  8. Beatufiul card! {And I'm a big fan-o-pink!}

    I'm running lots, too. (It's a major stress reliever for me and I have lots of stress lately, I guess) Have a 10 miler run in Philly next weekend...(Broad Street Run) I've done it 15 or so years, but had to miss last couple of years because of a serious issue with plantar fasciitis...maybe all the running over the last 25 years affected my brain and "love affair" with pink! :)

  12. You do pink so well, Glenda! I find that purple is a color I don't use much. I don't necessarily have an aversion to it, I'm just not drawn to it. If I'd have known how much you dislike pink, I would've done the dice on your card some other color. I just love pink with brown for a retro feel. Anyway - love your card, and the pinky goodness!

  13. It's definitely a pink I can handle - almost a dusty rose, no? It looks fabulous with the green polka dot paper!
