Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day!  I'm celebrating today with this simple card.  As I look at it, I see imperfections... sigh.  However, I know our Earth is a little imperfect here and there, so I'm ok with it.  I'm playing along with the Unity Challenge this month - off-white, pink (ACK!!!!!) and green. Did the best I could, using as little pink as possible (hee, hee).  And really, bright pink is really close to red so it's not so bad.  There are sparkles on the tree but it's hard to see.  I LOVE this flowery washi tape, isn't it fabulous?

We do what we can to be kind to Mother Earth... reduce our energy consumption, reuse or repurpose as much as we can, donate or sell things we don't use anymore, recycle a lot of stuff (we are lucky to have great programs both at home and work), compost our veggie bits, coffee grounds & dryer lint, use our travel coffee mugs and water bottles, and I walk to work almost every day.... we're not perfect but we do what we can.  Hope it helps, just a little bit.  After all, this is only home we have and we want it to last for a while longer.  Do something to show some love to our beautiful planet today... I might go dig in my garden.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Glenda
