Baby vs. cat

It's not as ominous as it sounds, no blood was involved! Last week, I made a card for a cat. This week, I'm making a card for a baby. Both tasks, very difficult. The winner as to which is harder? It's a draw at this point. My friend Jill had the same problem and describes it in humorous fashion. I agree with her thoughts "I'm not much of a pastel girl and I'm pretty sure it's inappropriate to put a martini glass on a baby card (or is it?)". I did put the martini glass stamp back on the shelf, tossed aside most of the pastels, and pulled out the hot air balloon stamp (again) and did up a baby card which also fits with the (now closed) Moxie Fab World In My Beautiful Balloon challenge. There is blue sponging in the back and glitter on the clouds - it's hard to see in this picture. Another frustration... could not get a decent photo of this card.

I have to say that I had to redo this card about 5 times (no joke) and the cat card I did in one shot. However, deciding what to put on the cat card was really difficult. I like both of the cards, I guess. Love them? Nope, not today.

Thanks to everyone for all of their love and support after my big announcement on Monday. Still really giddy about the whole thing. In addition, I won the Color Inspiration Challenge #3 at Paper Crafts Connection and was featured on the All Things Unity blog. I've definitely been walking around with perma grin on my face this week.

Take care and have a great week,
Glenda

  1. Gorgeous card, Glenda! I love it. I still haven't made a card for that challenge. Can you believe I have NO air balloon stamps? What's wrong with me?
