Challenge combos

BLOG CANDY details are here...

So I figure if I have a bit of free time ;), I'm going to be crafty. So I've been playing over the last couple of days and came up with a couple of fun things...or at least I think so.

First, for Tracy's Sketchy Thursday 68 and Splitcoast Stampers Colour Challenge 256, I came up with this. I love burgundy and yellow together so it wasn't too difficult to add the grey. The sketch is a bit different than Tracy's (realized that afterwards - oops!).

For the A Muse Lounge Challenge this month, there are three colour combos to choose from. I already did the first one. This is the second one - orange crush, sky blue and papaya. This was a tough for me too (the red/pink for the first one was tough) for some reason - I think it's the pale blue. Not an easy colour for me to use. This is also for the Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge 266 which is a tough one - that's a whole lotta layers, but I think I managed to make it work.

I've been enjoying my spare time - hanging with friends, exercising and crafting. Tomorrow the job hunt begins with a vengeance. Applied online for unemployment insurance yesterday (it's officially called employment insurance now but it will always be UI to me, pogey if you want to get really colloquial about it!). Think I will try some new recipes while I'm off too. I'll try to remember to share any good ones I come up with!

Hope you are having a 'happy hump day'!
Glenda
