Hey there. Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was busy - taught at Crafty Capers on Sunday (more about that in a moment). I am prepping for another class on Thursday - Technique Talent at Scrappers' Anonymous (call and sign up if you haven't yet!). Also, it is the A Muse Instructor training weekend this weekend in Seattle. I am so freakin' excited . Can't wait to see all of my A Muse girls.
So in honour of the A Muse Muses (a.k.a the Creative Team) who I'm going to be hangin' with this weekend, the challenge this week is to CASE a Muse. Their blogs are listed down the right side of my blog. The list is long and these ladies are uber talented so you'll have no problem finding something gorgeous to play with and put your own spin on. Be sure to leave a comment for them so they know about your case. I cased this freakin' fabulous card from my NY pal Sherry. I didn't do the cool background like Sherry - kept it a little more simple than Sherry's elegant card. Notice the yellow veins in the leaf? I sponged them, I was feeling just a little bit brilliant when I did that. If you upload to Splitcoast Stampers, use the keyword GRAC43. If you can, please use a little A Muse on your card. Thanks to Armie and Kerry for playing along last week. Really though, a bunch of the Muse's played along (they just didn't comment) as we were doing sneak peaks last week and there were a bunch of great thank you sentiment in the new release. Check these - Jill, Rhonda, Sherry, Becky, Cheiron, Elena, Geeta, Jennie, Katie, Krystie Lee, Michelle, Novell, Lexi, Lori, and Melinda.
Had a great time teaching Holiday Head-start at Crafty Capers. Thanks to everyone who came - Marilyn (who had left by the time I remembered to take a picture), Leslie, Joan, Pat, Marg and Barb. I had fun - hope you did!
On the way home, I stopped in for a quick visit with my new friend Alli Miles. She is so great! Next time it will have to be for longer so we can STAMP!!!!
Have a great week everyone. I can't wait for Friday when I head to Seattle... counting down the minutes! My apologies for my crooked sentiments last week (and maybe jut a bit today too - grrrr) - how embarassing.... guess I'm a little off my rocker! They didn't look crooked until I took a picture.
I need a break.... guess I'll go to Seattle! Happy creating....Glenda
