fantastic flowers

Happy May crafty friends! Hope this month is treating you well so far. Nancy is hosting our flowers topping for us this week at Seize the Birthday. I bought this gorgeous foil plate in January and my first try with it ended up as this card! I have made several others like this - foil on patterned paper with a simple sentiment. Definitely a winner design in my mind.

Be sure to head over to the blog to check out the stunning creations from the rest of the team, our new Surprise Party Guest Wanda Cullen (welcome!) and previous winner Tracy! Hope you can play along with us - using the topping isn't mandatory but we love it when you do.

Always so grateful for the comments.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a terrific day and a wonderful upcoming weekend.
Take care,
Glenda

  1. I did a bunch of foiling yesterday but I never thought about doing foiling on printed paper. A great idea here and I think I'm going to give this a try. I actually think it would make a great masculine card with the right kind of image. Thanks for the idea.

  6. One of the few times that I've seen foiled flowers left uncolored and I love it. The newsprint looks amazing as the background. Great card, Glenda!

  7. Well, I’ll have to try this technique, cos I’ve not had much luck on plain white card. This is gorgeous!
