sketchy

This week at Seize the Birthday JoAnn has a sketch for us.  I love sketch challenges... especially because everyone has such a different take on it.  I know how much JoAnn loves flowers so I was inspired to use flowers for this card. I'm lacking a little mojo lately but managed to come up with this.  After a couple of tries watercolouring this image, I decided that it's best if my watercolouring is not precise (that's probably best for most things with me!). The stamps are brand new (gift from a generous friend) and the ribbon is very old. I don't remember the last time I used ribbon but I have a lot of it so dug through my stash for something that worked. Apologies for my slightly warped sentiment.

Be sure to head over to the blog to see the spectacular creations from our Surprise Party Guest Karren and the rest of the team have created.

Wishing you a wonderful day. Thank you for stopping by.
Glenda

  1. You are so right about each one doing something different with a sketch. I have been amazed and wished that I did them better. I struggled with mine, but in the end, used up some of my PP.

  2. Love your take on the sketch Glenda and that you used flowers :) Your coloring looks fine to me. I have tons of ribbon also and seldom use it anymore. Yours is perfect for the vertical element. I agree that everyone's take on a sketch is so different and unique. I love sketch challenge.
