Happy Thursday friends! Our theme at Seize the Birthday this week, thanks to Ashwini, is using an embossing folder. Not sure if this worked exactly as I expected exactly as I hoped... however, I used one of my favourite sets, Sketchbook Florals, from Taylored Expressions/Lori Craig and that always makes me happy.
Be sure to check out the blog for our surprise party guest, Melanie, and the rest of the team's embossed beauties. Give the some crafty love!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day and terrific weekend.
Glenda

This is so pretty! I love the embossing added to the lined paper. And my favourite part might just be that bit of washi - just seems to set off all the other elements perfectly!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card Glenda. Love the flower and the embossed lined paper. All the elements work together perfectly. I agree with Lindsey about the washi with all the other elements.
ReplyDeleteIts really pretty! I love how the lines on the background and the embossing coordinate, and that bit of washi tape, which adds that little bit of something to enhance the flower (which is one of my favorites!).
ReplyDeleteVery nice! This is just another take on how to use an embossing folder and I love this one. It is a page out of a clean and simple design book.
ReplyDeleteFun card -- love the touch of washi too
ReplyDeleteLove the design, the embossing adds a subtle, but really nice touch. Thanks for inviting me to guest this month at Seize the Birthday!
ReplyDeleteLove how you accentuated the lines on the paper with the embossing. I adore that floral too! Hope you are well and sorry I am late popping by!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love the sweet details like the paper clip, the tiny tag, and the cute washi tape on your card!
ReplyDeleteSo artsy, love it! Never underestimate the power of washing tape!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun collage style, everything is perfectly placed and the embossed lines look fab too. Sorry for the late comment, technology issues...looking for a new laptop! Cathy x
