Wow... not really sure what to say here today. Paper Crafts Magazine has been such force in the paper crafting world and I am sad that it will soon be no longer. However, I believe we should celebrate the fabulous entity and the amazing people that are Paper Crafts Magazine!
First off... you should have arrived here from Brenda Weaver's blog... secondly, here is the card I created. My mojo is a little rusty these days as I haven't been crafting due to grad school so hope you like it! (In retrospect - I should have done a martini card - would have been far more appropriate! LOL).
I going to try to keep this short and sweet but I do want to talk about some of the highlights of my relationship with Paper Crafts Magazine:
- The relationship really started when I won World Card Making Day in the fall of 2010. Can't tell you how giddy I was. Here's the card.
- Getting chosen Moxie Fabber of the Week in the spring of 2011 was pretty fabulous too.
- Going to CHA in January of 2013 was so amazing as I got to meet the fabulous Paper Crafts ladies, the Go-To Girls as well so many other amazing crafters
- Just about fell off the couch when I got the email I was going to be a cover girl in July 2013. Pretty freakin' cool.
I have to say, the best thing about this magazine, for me, is the relationships and amazing friendships it has facilitated and the opportunities it created for me. I am humbled and honoured and I thank all of you soooo much for everything you done. Your genuine passion and enthusiasm for the craft always shone through!
Here's a picture of Susan R. Opel, Cath Evaldson and me at CHA 2013. Was pretty thrilled to meet these two!
Bethany has created a fabulous video... check it out! Also, a big thanks to Taheerah for organizing the hop! Thanks for all of your hard work!
Now that you are done reading my ramblings... head off to see what Kelly Griglione created!
Thanks for stopping by. Big hugs to all the fabulous ladies at Paper Crafts Magazine - we love you and you'll be missed! xoxo
Glenda
