Inspired out of my comfort zone

Happy Friday!  It's been many a week since I played along with Unity's Friends with Flair, so thought I should try and whip something up.  It wasn't looking good (the whole 'whipping' thing, which implies quick) as I decided to go 'collage' (which is so difficult for me).  I was inspired by this fabulous card from the super talented Julie Campbell.  I also wanted to use my newly acquired A Little Bit Washi and drew from this fun card from the always-inspirational Lisa Arana.  I have a slight major addiction to washi tape so having a washi stamp set is perfect for me!  I also have to thank my fab friend Jill Grace (who is also addicted to washi) for sending me these buttons for my birthday.  I'm trying really hard not to hoard them... but it's tough!  Surprisingly, this card came together quickly and I'm pretty happy with it.  Hope you like it too.

Oh, and while we are on the topic of Unity, please stop by Lindsey's blog for her Growing in Unity week.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend.
Glenda

  4. Eeek, so awesome! See what happens when you go out of your comfort zone and use some hoarded supplies? ;) Those washi stamps look like REAL washi! If I hadn't known they were stamps, I never would've imagined. I love that you have Art & Possibility, too. Fabulous card, Glenda!
