Happy Monday everyone! Hope all my Canadian friends are having a wonderful long weekend. To my American friends, an early Happy 4th of July! Welcome to the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge this week! It's Trend Watch week and the theme is Food Fresh.
So I've chosen a food that is not healthy but quite delicious! A red velvet cupcake... I don't have a sweet tooth but I do love red velvet cupcakes. Mmmm.... and it's not just because they're red. ;) The cupcake and candle are from the Sugar Rush set and the sentiment is from Sentiment Sampler. Since I am 'sketch challenged' (I can never come up with my own), I have once again gone to Kim's extensive collection of Designer Drafts. The icing has enamel accents for 'creaminess' and the candle has some glitter for some 'sparkle'. I cut a slit in the cupcake and slit the candle in because I didn't want it quite as tall as it was.
Hope you can play along this week. You have until next Sunday night (July 8th) to play along. All the details are on the Paper Smooches Sparks blog. Be sure to check out what the rest of the fabulous design team have created:
Thank so much for stopping by and have a fabulous week! Can't wait to see what you come up with for the challenge.
Glenda
