Happy Monday! Monday always means it's time for another Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge and this week is the Picture Perfect challenge. It's my 'off-week' but always love to play along. I always love a good challenge. Here is this week's inspiration photo....
My automatic response was to pull out Sugar Rush and do something with a cupcake but decided to think out the box a bit. So I looked at the flags, the patterns and the colours and pulled out Friendly Flowers and Chit Chat. I always struggle with how to 'lay out' my cards so looked at Kim's Designer Drafts page for inspiration. What a great resource for sketches... I will definitely be going back to this page! This is what I came up with....
Light, fun and inspired. Hope you like it! I have a whole pile of new washi tape (like I needed any more!) so thought I should use some. It's been a few days... hee, hee.
Hope you can play along this week! All the details are on the Paper Smooches Sparks blog. Check out what the design team came up with this week! Be sure to give them some love on their blogs:
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you have a fabulous week!
Glenda

ReplyDeleteThis is delightful, Glenda! Way to think outside of the box!
ReplyDeleteGlenda this is so fresh and fun! I really love this take on the sketch. The gingham flower and washi tape are awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure a cupcake card would have been fun, but this card really is inspired! I totally see the relationship to the pic, but this card is so much more original. Nice!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous CASness! I love the subtle swirl you added under the "T" and the washi tape is so yummy!
ReplyDeleteOf course I a am totally loving the washi. You are a washi machine (doesn't that sound like a Laffy Taffy joke?). The little swoosh is such a cool addition, too.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Glenda! I can totally see how you interpreted the gingham and flag inspiration from. I love the placement of those flowers!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love it!
