Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge - Cool Shades

Welcome to the Paper Smooches Sparks Cool Shades Challenge! This is our colour challenge week.  This is the combo we have for you...

I must confess this was a little tough for me.  Dark purple, royal purple, eggplant, blackberry... we get along very well.  Lavender and I, not so much.  So this was definitely a challenge for me but I managed to pull in some lavender baker's twine to finish off this card.  The bottom left colour looked yellow to me but now that I look at it again... it looks more brown.  Oh well... I'm pretty close with a pale yellow.  I'm inking up my Friendly Flowers set for the first time too (why I didn't get this set sooner, I'm not quite sure). The 'Hi' is from My Peeps.

Please be sure to check and see what the rest of the fabulous design team has in store for you this week!

You have until Sunday, June 24 at midnight PT to play along!  All the details are on the Paper Smooches Sparks blog.  Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by.
Glenda

  2. OMG, I just went through all your posts and left comments only to see on the last one you have a comment moderation I was skipping somehow. Goodness... that stinks! So here is an abbreviated recap. :)

Your friends are lucky to have someone like you to support them during their hard times. That is worth more than words can express. And your card was fabulous. You have a great eye for design.

You rock the building cards! They should be your signature. Amazing.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fabulous coffee card! The colors, the stamps and the crimping. Adorable.

The MFT card was so fun with the little bit of map showing.

And this one is just darling. Great use of the colors and so happy.

    Have a super week sweetie.
