Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge - Designer Drafts

It's Designer Drafts Week (a.k.a sketches) over at the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge.  There are two teams and this is my 'week off' but wanted to play along anyway. I love sketches (because I'm terrible at coming up with my own).  So here is the sketch:

Here's what I came up with:

You may have noticed my washi tape addiction lately so decided to go CAS with some washi tape for this sketch.  This perfect sentiment is from Word Salad.  I used my Copics to colour the clear gems, so I could match the tape.

Be sure to check to this week's team for some fabulous creations!

The challenge runs until May 20th so I hope you can play along!  All the details are on the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge blog.

Thanks for stopping by!  I always appreciate it.  Have a great week.

  1. So glad you played along with us Glenda! Your card is very COOL! I really love how you can see through the washi tape. I have yet to buy any—but this card makes me want to place an order for some today. Really fun card!

  2. Awesome card, Glenda! I love your washi tapes! I'm scared of them for some reason. I bought a bunch but have never used them, but I dunno why!!! Anyway, love your card! Thanks for playing along!

  3. Ooooo...love the washi, Glenda. I think I have the purple and green/white one, too (which pretty much means we both have a washi addiction). I really like the CAS design--you're so good at it!

  4. Love the washi tape and CAS interpretation of this cool sketch. Will try my hand with something tonight. Hope I can keep it as simple and striking.

  5. Woot! Rockin' the washi girl friend! :)

  6. You are the washi tape queen! Love it!

  7. Gorgeous!! I love what you did with the washi tape. I don't have any yet, I've been trying not to!!
I love the matching little rhinestones. :)

  8. OHHHHHH! I LOVE how you used the lines as the colors--FAB take on this sketch:)
