Stormy

Thought I would whip up a CAS card for the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #46.  The challenge is to make a card inspired by a song.  Easy, right?  Sure, I love a wide variety of music (which reminds me, I must update my Tunes page).  When I started thinking about my stamps however... it was tough.  I kept defaulting to hearts and some love song.  Too easy... so I though about a song I recently fell in love with.  It's called Storm Comin' by the Wailin' Jennys.  I'm not usually into country music and this is country-ish, but their voices go together so well and this a capella version gives me the shivers, it's so beautiful.  Oh yes, and they are Canadian... ;).  Us Canadians always have to mention when someone famous is from Canada!  LOL....So here's my stormy CAS card...

Not exactly how I picture it but I guess I like it!  I tried to add more light tonight but don't think it helped much.  Oh crap, and my umbrella handle is skewed...  blah, blah, blah.  Apologies for my stormy musings... Hope you like it!

So have to give some shout outs to my crafty friends... Cheiron is Moxie Fabber of the Week, Michelle is the newest member of the Card Maker blog team and Jill is a Moxie Fab Trigger Target.  Way to go ladies!  I got a couple of little shout outs too... I shared the Trigger Target honour with Jill (and Jen - whose blog I follow) and was the Shining Star at Ribbon Carousel.  I'm also keeping a secret or two about some other friends who have some exciting crafty things happening.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I really appreciate it.
Glenda
