Warm Saturday


I'm trying to entice the sun to come out by making this warm card.  It's cool and pouring here...  This card is for the latest Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger (see below).  I love these simple, crisp, geometric and colourful designs from from Orla Kiely.  Jill introduced me to these designs and I fell in love so had to play along with the trigger.  I was inspired by one of the patterns and some of the colours.  I tried to incorporate some yellow in here too but it just wouldn't work.  I just got some new paper from Basic Grey (Konnichiwa) which has this lovely "Orla-style" leaf pattern in it.  It seems to me I've been saying that a lot lately ("I just got some new paper").... I think I have a problem.


I'll be sending this card to a colleague whose husband just had surgery for cancer.  It's been a tough road so I hope this cheers her up.

    LOVE this card Glenda!!! Perfect combination of papers, embs, and sentiment! I have the same problem....but my problem is I need to use it and not hoard it :)

    BEAUTIFUL CAS card and AWESOME take on the trigger photo, Glenda! Those papers and the leaf silhouette are just PERFECT! You can send that rain to Colorado!!! We desperately need some serious precipitation!!!
