Thankful for a sketch

I am always thankful for a sketch because it's the part of card making I struggle with the most.  DeNami Design has a Sketch Challenge this month (see below) so had to play along... this is what I came up with. Thanks to the fabulous DT at DeNami for a great sketch and fabulous inspiration cards!




Really love this flowered paper... it's 100% not my colours but there's just something about it that works.... would you agree?

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.... really wishing mine was a bit longer right now.  Been crafting a lot (read: avoiding cleaning my house) and helping hubby with car repairs (read: putting my foot on a break pedal).

    Glenda, this is JUST BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE the colors, the patterned paper, and the way you stamped the daisy in between the words "warmest" and "wishes"!!     I love the upright sentiment, so unique. Great colors, and I love how the daisy stamp fits perfectly in between the sentiment.

    I get what your saying...not colors I would have picked, but yeah, I'm feeling that paper anyway...it's pretty. Love how you tied the sentiment and patterned paper together with the daisy stamp...such a pretty card.

    Hi, Glenda!! Those really are fabulous colors in that pretty patterned paper you used :). I love how you let it do the talking in your use of the sketch. And really, how *perfect* is that upright sentiment for this layout? You were a genius to pull it out for this lovely card. :D
