Globally inspired

Those who know me well know that I love to travel and I love maps.  This card is a combination of those loves which was inspired by the Get Inspired by Home Decor Challenge in the Moxie Fab World (see photo below).  Shockingly enough, I do not have a globe or Earth stamp (shocking to me anyway) and this card has made me realize I must acquire one (any suggestions?).



I actually submitted a card for this when the call came out but it didn't make it.  You can see it here.

Must get back to my Christmas cards (no comments on how late I am - most of my 'far away' ones are in the mail already so I just have local ones to finish, but there are a lot).  Thanks for stopping by and hope you are having a great weekend.

    P.S. I love and collect maps, too, but have had the hardest time finding a map/globe stamp that I really like. Then I discovered Avocado Arts! Check out the August 2011 Kit: ZipnBy to Say Hi. :)

    How fun, Glenda! I have that Unity stamp, too, and just love it. And your patterned paper is fabulous!! I don't have any map-ish PP, so I usually just rip up old maps when I want something like that :). Awesome take on the inspiration!
