Love this life

I'm not always purposeful in my cards (other than doing it for a specific challenge like today's Friends with Flair over at Unity Stamp Co.) but I was in this one.  It is Remembrance Day in Canada.  It's the day we remember veterans, soldiers and peace keepers who serve, have served and sacrificed for our freedom.  I am rarely speechless but I find it hard to put my feelings into word in this case... however, my friend Gillian wrote this eloquent post.  Back to the card, the sentiment on this card is quite relevant today and the red flowers with black centres symbolize the poppies we wear to commemorate this day.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Please stop for a moment today and be silent... to remember.  Love this life... it is fleeting and precious and we should be grateful for it.  Thank you to those who serve and sacrifice.
Glenda
