hello/goodbye

It should really say 'bye for now'... this is my last 'fresh' post for a while. Let me clarify... I'm about to start my new (summer) job which will put me away from my craft table and computer for the majority of the time. Not to worry though, I have scheduled several posts over the next few weeks so be sure to keep stopping by. Have some publication rejects to show, as well as other fun with my crafty friends!

This quick card is for the current Embellish Color Challenge - background stamping. The inspiration photo had a redish-orange in it but I ended up using red... and my blue is a bit different (cause I don't have that colour ink). Playing with a new background stamp that I won from Paper Craft Planet (thanks!) and a new punch I couldn't resist buying....

Not an original concept/design but it's simple, fun and colourful.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I always appreciate it.

Now I have the Beatles song going through my head... "you say goodbye and I say hello... hello, hello... I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello...."

Have an amazing summer.
Glenda

  4. Good luck, Glenda! I hope you still find a few moments here and there to indulge your creative side this summer, even if you don't have time to share it here.

And this card looks great. Love your take on the color scheme -- it's like a sophisticated version of the bright, playful original. So I think it's a happy accident that you didn't have those exact ink colors.
