Ok, I really wasn't planning on posting again today but when I was cruising the blogs this morning I noticed these fabulous creations on Michelle Woerner's blog and Teresa Kline's blog, which used the same Verve sketch. I absolutely love it so decided to whip something up in time for Verve's WCMD sketch contest (closes tonight!). I've been trying to work on my collage skills and this was a great sketch for that. There is a lotta' lotta' going on with this card which is tough for this clean and simple girl. However, I love this patterned paper and decided to let that be the focus. Played with the colours and added some texture. What do you think? I really like how it turned out, despite how busy it is. Thanks to Verve (including Michelle and Teresa) for the inspiration.
Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians. Hope you spend it with the important people in your life. I will be celebrating with family, enjoying turkey and other delicious treats (including apple crumble made from apples from our yard!).
If you are looking for challenges, check out my Random Amusing Challenge from Monday, Color Dare and all of the SCS Hope You Can Cling To Challenges.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I am truly grateful.
