Challenge time again. I am welling up with a sense of Canadian pride after the Olympics. I had a love/hate relationship with the Olympics as I didn't get to go to any events or be directly involved in anything but was proud of our accomplishments and to be a part of the feeling of the event when I went to Vancouver on Friday. Plus, Canada won more gold medals than any other country at any Winter Olympics EVER! I digress...the challenge for this week is a result of that pride...make a red and white card (you can also use another neutral like black or brown). If you play along, please leave a comment here. If you upload to SCS, use the keyword GRAC56. Thanks to Deb (first timer - welcome!), Cheiron and Victoria for playing along last week.
Had a great class at Crafty Capers yesterday - two full classes of talented ladies doing fabulous folds! We were slightly distracted as we kept waiting to hear the score of the hockey game (did I mention that Canada won hockey gold TWICE?). My hubby was sending me text messages as was Jill (who lives in California). Needless to say, the two of them had slightly different perspectives on each goal. I'll post photos from class later in the week. Thanks to everyone who came - regulars and newbies alike! Be sure to check my schedule for my classes coming up in March and April. As an added bonus to all the excitement yesterday, I got to stop in and have a quick visit with Alli yesterday.
One more post today so stay tuned! Hope you have a chance to play along with the challenge. Have a great week! Glenda
