Challenges, Classes and Convocation

Happy Monday all....I know Monday isn't our favourite day but maybe you can play along with a couple of challenges and have some fun.

First, my challenge #28. I would like you to use pattern paper for your card base/background. This was hard for me but the new gingham paper seemed to work well. I didn't know if I would like this new paper but I was pleasantly surprised. It's such a fine pattern and have you seen all the colours it comes it? Wow. As always, try to use a little A Muse on your card and if you upload to Splitcoast Stampers, use the keyword GRAC28. Thanks to Cheiron, Laura and Kerry for playing last week.

Second, there is an A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA challenge over at A Muse News! There will be a challenge every Monday from now until July 10th when A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA begins. This week's challenge is SQUARE. Here's my square card. It also fits in for Jennie's masculine card challenge in the A Muse Lounge this month. Thanks to Jennie for both challenges! Be sure to play along cause you can win!


Third, had a great class at Scrappers' Anonymous on Saturday! Thanks to Kory, Maureen and Nancy (left to right in the photo) for a fun class! And thanks to Susan and Stacey (store owners) for having me come in to teach in their fabulous store.


Last, but not least, a little bit about what I am doing today. Recently, I was elected president of the University of Victoria Alumni Association Board of Directors. It is a volunteer position and a lot of fun. I get to meet some fabulous people, promote the Alumni Association and do some fun stuff. Today is part of the "fun stuff" category. I am speaking at two convocation ceremonies on behalf the Alumni Association. I know most people don't look forward to public speaking but I'm really excited.
