Nance (happy birthday to you!) has chosen Favourite Fall Treat for the Seize the Birthday topping this week. I'm taking a slightly differently take on this! I'm in a lot of denial about fall because I am 100% a summer person... but one of my favourite things to do in autumn is to walk and kick my feet through big piles of leaves. So that is my favourite fall treat ... I have to find something positive about autumn! I used my Artsy Leaves dies with some smooshed Distress Inks for this leafy card.
Hope you can join us! Please check out the blog to see what fabulous creations the design team, our Surprise Party Guest Johanna, and previous winner Stephanie, have come up with!
Always so grateful for the comments. Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a terrific day and a wonderful upcoming weekend.
Take care,
Glenda

When I saw the theme for this challenge I immediately thought about the coffee that we had in Ireland so that's the way I went. But after looking at so many people's cards I see now that there were a lot of ways that we could have gone with fall things that we like. I love your card for that reason. I also love that you picked bold colors and that purple is amazing.
ReplyDeleteLove your take on the Topping with your colorful leaves Glenda. We don't get to see the leaves change down here in Florida.
ReplyDeleteGlenda, I Love the direction you went with our Topping and let me say that you have out-done yourself. This is really pretty! I hope you have a mild winter my friend.
ReplyDeleteGlenda, your colorful leaves are so beautiful. Lovely card. Have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the amazing burst of colours you've achieved with this card! Jo x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloured leaves Glenda, great take on the topping too, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteNow that's an unexpected take, but a fun one! I love those stunning colors on the leaves and your layout really makes it look scattered, like they've just fallen from a tree onto your card! Really gorgeous card, Glenda!
ReplyDeleteSummer person? I'm not sure we can be friends anymore. ROFL! (Although if I lived as far north as you I'd probably be a summer person too.) I adore your brightly colored leaves and love your take on the challenge.
