At Seize the Birthday this week we are doing black & white. I always find this a bit intimidating but I got into a grove and managed to make two! Hope you like them. Please forgive the misaligned enamel dots on the second card - didn't notice until I was posting the picture (*gasp*)
Be sure to stop by the blog for all the rules & regs and to give some crafty love to the rest of the team.
Happy February and have a great weekend!
Always appreciate you stopping by.
Thanks,
Glenda

Fantastic birthday cards, Glenda! This is a tricky challenge to stick to just black and white---you did an awesome job! Hoping to have some time to play along with this one :)
ReplyDeleteStunning cards, Glenda! Love your style, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThe enamel dots aren't misaligned, they're artistically placed on the polka dot washi! These are both excellent - what a great idea to use a vintage typewriter image! (Now that I'm seeing the rest of the DT cards, I want to go back and redo mine...)
ReplyDeleteWhoa! I am not sure which one I like better. Let me take another look. They are both enticing, but I think my heart love the second one best. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteDidn't think the enamel dots are misaligned - I though they were part of the design! Anyway, the cards certainly do look amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteFab black and white cards Glenda, love how you've used the positive and negatives of the note card die, really great idea, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteLove them both Glenda! You and CAS with a bit of Washi works so well together! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLove the graphic design on both cards. :)
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are awesome. The first one looks more masculine and bold and the second one feminine with the delicate embossing ! Same layout but so much difference!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards -- I adore that black bg paper on the first card
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the black & white them. Love both of your cards. I agree with Vicki, I love the bg paper on the firs one.
ReplyDeleteBoth fab cards, and I’m with the others - (a) I love the bg paper on the first, and (b) the enamel dots don’t look misaligned because the washi tape is cut on a slant.
