Birthdays, big news and bright sunshine...

Happy Thursday!  Hope you are doing well.  I am home from my work in the Arctic... I had a great time.  Lots of floating ice (not icebergs because they don't originate in glaciers), some walruses and a lot of daylight.  I didn't see any whales (there were some sighted but I missed them) or polar bears... hopefully I'll get to go again next year!

Here today to wish Lesley and Amy a very happy birthday! I've had a pleasure of working with both of these lovely ladies quite a bit lately!  Hope you have a great day ladies.

It's also time that I share some big news with you... starting in September, I will be doing my Master of Science degree!  It is something I've wanted to do for a long time (see #25 here).  I will be working and going to school at the same time (most of the classes are online).  I'm super excited and nervous all at the same time.  It will be a very hectic two years.  So... on that note, I will be cutting back on my blogging and publication submissions for a while.  I'll do my best to create something to share... I might need some down time!  My commenting has been 'lacking', to say the least, for a while and that won't be changing.  My apologies.  I appreciate everyone who stops by and leaves a comment.  It always makes me feel good.

Here's a couple of photos from my trip...

One of many chunks of ice we dodged.

A true midnight sun.

Have a terrific Thursday.
Thanks so much for dropping by.
Glenda
