Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge - Designer Drafts

Happy Tuesday!  Well, it's the waining hours of Tuesday here so it's actually Wednesday almost everywhere else... oh well.  Whatever day it is... hope it's great!


I'm a bit behind on this week's Paper Smooches Sparks Designer Drafts Challenge... I usually have it posted with the rest of this week's team but the weekend was a little hectic.  Better late than never.  It's Designer Drafts which means there is one of Kim's fabulous sketches to play along with.


I inked up Hot Concoctions for the first time.  Gasp!  I know, quite shocking... I just got a few weeks ago but haven't had a chance to use it.  It works perfectly for the vertical version of the sketch.  Those who know me, know I'm a wee bit particular about my coffee.  We make it in the morning at home... Kicking Horse... it's a lovely, freshly ground, organic, dark roast, roasted here in BC... mmmm... so good.  I do like going out and meeting friends for coffee too so thought I would combine this cute sentiment from Vogue Abode.

    I had to check to see if you'd used a crimper or upcycled a coffee sleeve. :D Great rich colours for this fun card.

    *swoon* Oh, how I love this! You are so good at sketches. The colours and the bits of corrugated kraft are amazing! I love the double swirls of heart-steam, too.

    The crimping is super fly (I don't think I've said that since 1989--ha ha)! Of course I love the color scheme, and the little travel cup is too cute! Awesome card, Glenda!

    SOOOOO love this card. First, I just LOVE coffee so it is given I love this. Second, my favorite color combo and the crimping just makes me think of my 2nd favorite coffee spot - Starbucks. Fabulous.
