Hope you are having a great week so far! It's my last week as Guest Designer over at Paper Smooches. *sniffle* This has been a huge honour for me and I've had so much fun. Kim is so inspirational and sweet and the whole design team is so talented... it really has been a great experience.
My 'theme' this week is CAS with a kick and lots of white space. The first card is from the Alfresco set. I decided to make little watermelon sections by cutting up the original image into 3, finishing the edges with a fine marker and, when necessary, drawing in my own seed. I think it turned out pretty well.
Next, I've used the glasses from the Hubby & Wifey set. I thought this could be for any sort of general celebration, not necessarily a wedding. I've glittered the glasses and the bubbles.
Once again, it's hard to express what a thrill it's been to be the Guest Designer this month. Been walking around with a perma-grin. Thanks again to Kim and to you for checking out my cards this month.
Hope you've enjoyed my creations. Thank for stopping by.
Glenda

ReplyDelete*sigh* Sorry the GDT is ending--you were awesome! You know I'm loving all the whitespace in your cards. Fab coloring on the watermelon (yes, you can color!) and the scoring is a great frame. I love all the glitter in the glasses card. It would make a great New Year's card, too, or a congrats on your 5K card! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have been loving your Paper Smooches cards, Glenda! I need to buy some of these stamps. So cute!!
