goodbye

It's rare for me to do a non-crafty, personal post but I just wanted to share a few thoughts...

I have a love/hate relationship with technology.  I love keeping in touch with my far away family and friends, all the knowledge and fun at our finger tips, and how, in some ways, technology makes life 'easier'.  On the contrary, I dislike how much time it sucks away, how we feel we always need to be 'connected' and how frustrating it can be when things fail.  However, I do believe that Steve Jobs changed our world.  As I type on my MacBook Pro, my iPod is not far away and my Apple TV provides my home with sights and sounds.  My hubby, not a huge Mac lover, has grown very fond of his iPad, using it for work and pleasure.  MacIntosh is part of our lives, no doubt about it....

Hope you are on another exciting journey Steve Jobs... thanks for thinking differently, and getting some of us to do the same... you will be missed.  Wish you'd been able to stick around a little longer...
