Sunday stamping

The other day I was using the A Muse shimmer couture paper with Cuttlebug embossing folders. Today, I'm using my ScorBuddy with my shimmer paper. What do you think? I was inspired by the colours and the pillow in this week's Tuesday Trigger from Moxie Fab World. Thanks to Cath for the challenge. This is also for the ribbon challenge from SCS Hope You Can Cling To.

The next one is for the Embellish Felt Colour Challenge and the felt challenge from SCS Hope You Can Cling To. The only felt I have is a few red felt flowers. I've had a hard time using them but was forced to for these. I think this turned out ok (definitely better than expected) considering felt scares me. I've got double score lines on the white but had a hard time capturing them in the photo.

I'm going to be uploading more SCS Hope You Can Cling To to my SCS gallery today too so check it out.

Thanks to Angela Thomas and Kim Teasdale for organizing a fun stamping event in Nanaimo yesterday. They did a great job. My friend Jo and I went up island and hung out with some great stamping ladies. A few I knew already but also met some new talented gals, including Jessica Knutsen, owner of There She Goes Clear Stamps and Tobi Crawford, Designer for SRM Stickers.

We took Vancouver Island's most beautiful shortcut early yesterday morning. Here are a few photos from along the way.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are having a great weekend.
Glenda

  3. Wonderful cards, Glenda! I feel the same way you do about felt, but you've done a beautiful job on the card. I'm sorry I haven't paid attention to the information on your blog....I didn't realize you were on the West Coast! I'm just outside of Edmonton.
