Falling into Autumn

I'll admit it - autumn is not my favourite season. Plants are going dormant or dying, less sun, less warmth, more yard clean up, and more staying inside. That said, I do cherish every bit of sunshine we get in September, the colours of the leaves are beautiful and I spent time playing in my garden (in the sunshine) yesterday. By the way, how many days till summer?

So to cheer myself up on this first full day of fall, I am sharing a couple of challenge cards. The first one I absolutely love. It came together so well. Another admission - I love tissue tape! I just got my first rolls and had to put a little snippet on this card. The colours are loosely based on SCS Colour Challenge 289 (my colour shades are different) and Laura's Sketch 61 at 2 Sketches 4 You.

Ok, this one I don't love quite so much. This is for the A Muse Lounge Challenge 20 - Lexi's sketch. I have made several cards with this sketch but none of them really worked (it should be easy but apparently not for me) and I'm still not sure if this works. You tell me! Hee, hee ... and oh yes, and it's also for Curtain Call Colour Challenge Act 48. Definitely a fun and funky bunch of colours!

Looking for some challenges? Check out my Random Amusing Challenge as well as this week's Color Dare! Looking for some classes? Check out my class schedule.

Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate it... really.

  5. So funny... I LOVE the fall. I love the cooler weather - my plants grow better, my mood improves, and it feels as though, with every leaf falling, that it's a chance to wipe the slate clean and start all over again. I'm sure my love of Halloween helps with my affinity for the season as well ;) Beautiful card to celebrate the fall!
