Coloured, sketched and pleated.... and some exciting news

Happy Friday all and welcome. Today's card is the anti-card to yesterday's clean and simple cards. There is whole lotta lotta going on with this card and I almost put more on but I had to stop. Step away from the craft table. It was getting a little busy and I'm still not sure I like it, but here it is. This is for Maren's Pleating challenge on Paper Crafts Connection (in my true 'breaking the rules' fashion, I pleated my ribbon, instead of my paper, cause I have a tendency to fold crooked, and folding ribbon crooked looks better than folding paper crooked...sorry Maren), SCS Sketch Challenge 295 and Color Throwdown 107 (red, green, yellow, and pink - also in my true 'anti-pink' fashion - there is only the tiniest bit of pink on here). Thanks to everyone for the great inspiration. Thanks to Deb Neerman for pointing me in the direction of this tutorial by Michelle Woerner. My pleating isn't perfect of course... guess I need more practise!

Now on to the announcement.... starting October 4th, I'm going to be teaching a "Stamp of the Month" class at Scrapbook Parade! All the details are here and will up on my class site soon. This is a new store for me and I want to send out a big thanks to Carol Volk for her determination on getting this going. So exciting! Hope you can make it! Also, my September classes are up!

Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by. If you are looking for my challenge, it's here.
